It was a relatively quiet week in the Enduro world, but it was still a great one with a spectacular EnduroGP Wales going off in Europe, and FMSQ rolling in New Brunswick, Canada. Add on some ISDE team announcement news, Sam Sunderland’s retirement, the release of the 2025 EnduroGP calendar, a potential Triumph enduro bike siting, and we definitely have some stuff to talk about!

Day two at round six of the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship saw Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia claim a close-fought victory over Beta Factory Racing’s Brad Freeman. The first champions of 2024 were crowned with GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona clinching the FIM Enduro2 World Championship and Team KTM Pro Racing Sport’s Manuel Verzeroli winning the FIM Enduro Youth World Championship at the FORSITESERVICES GP of Wales.

Dirt Store ISDE Team GB have announced their 2024 lineup of the ten riders who will represent Great Britain at the 98th FIM International Six Days Enduro. The iconic event will take place on October 14-19 in Silleda, Spain. After an up and down 2023 outing in Argentina where the Men’s Trophy Team picked up third overall with the Women’s and Junior Trophy Teams struggling near the back of the fields due to rider attrition, Great Britain will be looking to turn things around in Spain.

The sixth round of the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship is taking place this weekend at Cwmythig Hill in Rhayader, Wales. Let’s dive in and take a look at the big stories coming into the penultimate round of the Championship!

This will be the first time in 15 years that EnduroGP has a Welsh round, and with the high level of interest and support for Enduro racing in the United Kingdom, this weekend should be off the hook in terms of support. It’s going to be a fun one to follow.

The sixth round of the 2024 Redline Oil AMA National Enduro Series, presented by MSR and Beta Motorcycles, gifted riders ideal trail conditions. The dirt was moist due to rain earlier in the week, perfect for ripping through the fern-covered forests.

Even with ideal trail conditions for the Yamaha Rattlesnake National, nobody downplayed the technicality of the course. Most riders know when it comes to Pennsylvania terrain, they need to be cautious of hidden rocks. Even so, those rocks claimed some big hitters -- including Test 1 winner Ricky Russell on his Am-Pro Yamaha. Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Grant Baylor also went down in Section 2, ending his race day.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler takes victory at round four of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship in Romania. The German leads home Sherco Factory Racing’s Teodor Kabakchiev and Mario Roman to secure the top step of the Red Bull Romaniacs podium and retake the overall championship lead.

The penultimate day of racing at round four of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship saw Sherco Factory Racing’s Mario Roman take the win. The Spaniard proved fastest on Offroad Day 3 at Red Bull Romaniacs, edging out overall race leader Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler for victory.

Sherco Factory Racing’s Teodor Kabakchiev has topped the leaderboard on Offroad Day 2 at Red Bull Romaniacs, round four of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. The Bulgarian delivered an impressive ride, finishing almost four minutes ahead of overall race leader Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler.

A dominant performance by Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler saw the defending world champion put on a clinic to win by 28 minutes after over seven hours of racing.

In what proved an action-packed evening of racing in Sibiu, Romania, the Gold class final saw Walker take a commanding victory over RIEJU Factory Racing’s Alfredo Gomez in second, with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler third.

Tasmanian Kyron Bacon (Yamaha) secured a hard-fought win in the GALFER FIM Junior Enduro World Championship.

Kicking off the action at round five of the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship, the AKRAPOVIC Super Test saw Beta Factory Racing’s Brad Freeman take the win for the first time this season.

The POLISPORT GP of Slovakia is already proving to be action-packed, with Freeman topping the timesheets at the closely fought AKRAPOVIC Super Test in Gelnica and starting his weekend off on a high. Beta Factory Racing teammate Nathan Watson and CH Racing Sherco’s Zach Pichon went head-to-head in front of the packed crowd to cross the finish line with the exact same time, just 0.26 seconds short of Freeman.

The Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship readies itself for the second half of the 2024 season with the POLISPORT GP of Slovakia. Making a return to the popular host town of Gelnica, round five will see the battle for this year’s title fights ramp up.

Canada’s Trystan Hart (FMF KTM Factory Racing) came to the 2024 edition of the Silver Kings Hard Enduro with only one mission: win. By the time the dust settled he had put on an exhibit of hard enduro riding that put an exclamation point on his reputation as one of the top three riders globally in the discipline. Likewise, Sandra Gomez returned to Silver Kings and showed the Pro Women field that she is currently the gold standard in hard enduro.

No joking around this time out of the gates, the past week was a great one in the Enduro/Off-Road world! From a wild Italian round in Enduro GP to one of the biggest GNCC races of the year in West Virginia, to a very interesting Hard Enduro World Championship in Serbia, there was a ton of great action going down.
