FMSQ Releases Premliminary 2025 Schedule
Canada’s National Cross-Country Championship, FMSQ (Fédération des Motocyclistes de Sentiers du Québec), released its preliminary 2025 racing calendar today featuring eight rounds across Québec, Ontario and New Brunswick.
Key Points
FMSQ’s National Cross Country Championship is the largest off-road racing series in Canada. If you’re not aware of the series it’s Canada’s version of GNCC racing, featuring long-course xc racing.
This year’s series features a new Ontario round at legendary Canadian track Gopher Dunes and other other changes resulting from agricultural zoning restraints at some traditional racing sites in Québec.
From FMSQ
Dear FMSQ members and participants,
We would like to inform you that our 2025 preliminary season calendar will be posted tomorrow afternoon on all our platforms. We invite you to stay tuned for these updates and carefully review the changes that will shape the upcoming Cross-Country season.
The 2025 season promises to be full of excitement, particularly thanks to the addition of new destinations. However, preparing this calendar required us to overcome several challenges, mainly tied to agricultural zoning constraints at some sites in Quebec. As a result, we had to take various measures to finalize the 2025 season.
We recognize that these changes are significant and that not everyone will be fully satisfied. Designing a calendar of this scale is a considerable challenge for an organization the size of the FMSQ. Nevertheless, we continue to make every effort to offer you the best possible racing environment while ensuring the series continues to grow.
We are proud to present the new events added this year and are convinced these destinations will provide an incredible experience, while also boosting the visibility of the series.
Thank you in advance for your commitment, your understanding, and your passion for our sport. We invite you to join us tomorrow afternoon for the official release of the 2025 calendar, and we already look forward to seeing you on the starting line!
Lastly, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to the promoters who will unfortunately not be part of the 2025 season. Your support and enthusiasm have greatly contributed to the success and reputation of the FMSQ. On behalf of the entire community, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
The FMSQ Team
